Eleones is a representative Cretan extra virgin olive oil, which comes from selected, traditionally cultivated, olive groves in the area of Heraklion. It is strictly single variety and comes from the famous Koroneiki variety, which has offered, since antiquity, one of the finest olive oils in the world. The olive fruit is harvested around the middle of November with special care, without injuring the tree or the fruit, while within a few hours the pressing and the "cold" extraction of the olive oil follow. The result is a clear, golden-green and perfectly balanced olive oil with a rich, fruity taste and low acidity.
