The Organic extra virgin olive oil Astarti Exclusive (limited production), is produced and bottled with the care of the Tzortzopoulos family in the area of Karavas.
It is a product of cold pressing that respects the high nutritional and dietary value of olive oil. The privately owned olive groves are of Koronaiki variety, located in the northern part of the island with the main core of Stenokambos of Karavas and at an altitude ranging from 10 to 140m (a.s.l).
They are included in the program of organic agriculture based on EC 834/2007, under the control and certification of the Organization for Certification & Control of Organic Products DIO.
Award-winning for its quality, purity and taste, result of the varied terroir, the dry cultivation of olive trees and the microclimate of Kythera.
Astarti Exclusive is characterized as light - medium fruity. It has a special aroma and taste complex, delicate and peppery, characteristic of the early collection of the fruit (fresh olive oil) and the extra virgin.
It accompanies impeccable seafood, white meats, boiled vegetables and raw salads.
