The "Old Man" Georgios Chahalis who lived in the village of Agios Georgios Sykousis of Chios, knew all the secrets of distillation. He boasted when, with his company, gazing at the endless blue of the Aegean, he drank "his" ouzo, which was a "handmade" of mastic spirits and other aromatic plants and seeds.
This traditional recipe was followed all these years with religious reverence by his descendants, giving the consumer a soft and easy ouzo ouzo.
OUZO GEROS contains natural extracts and essential oils of Chios mastic and anise, for which laboratory (in vitro) studies of the Democritus University of Thrace, in collaboration with the distillery TENTOURA KASTRO - G.P.HACHALAKI of the Project "Use of biologically active essential oils in the production of alcoholic beverages and confectionery products with potential health benefits".
