The Pefkothymaromelo of Crete PDO is a natural mixture of thyme honey with pine honey which comes from the coexistence of late flowering thyme of the species Coridothymuscapitatus with the honey secretions of the pine. Produced exclusively in Crete. Pefkothymaromelo of Crete is the second recognized Greek honey, after the Honey of Mainali Fir Vanilla PDO.
